The candidate should ideally be an experienced qualified lawyer. Familiarity with Intellectual Property Laws is essential, as well as a good command of the different techniques of broadcasting operations. The candidate should have over 10 years of PQE advising in the field of Intellectual Property and Broadcasting Compliance issues.
You will be working in-house with the above experience along with the leadership skills, gravitas and business experience to take on this role. You need to have a pragmatic and commercial approach and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
The incumbent should have a proven track record of demonstrating high-calibre advice in the broadcasting sector. Knowledge of the Asian established and emerging markets is essential, as well as the command of an Asian language as the post will require the candidate to travel to Asia and deal with Asian clients. The incumbent should have the ability to work unsupervised and should be well organised and be able to work with people from different cultures and walks of life.
This role includes international travel at very short notice and candidate should be prepared to accept life on the go.
