With a growing presence across Asia, CRC is in search of a talented professional for its expanding Asian clients in the IP and Broadcasting sector. 

More about the Job:

CRC is recruiting a Legal Consultant on Broadcasting and Regulatory Services. You will be working primarily with some major broadcasting players in the Asian markets primarily and also with European ones. You will have responsibility for all aspects of broadcasting, legal and compliance affairs in CRC, including government relations, corporate responsibility, public relations, and employee relations, as well as a wide range of legal issues including commercial, corporate, regulatory and compliance. Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, supply agreements, assisting with IP issues as and when they arise and liaising with external Counsel are the highlights of the job descriptions. You will also be responsible to advise clients on their broadcasting needs and develop their compliance manual regularly.

More about you:

The candidate should ideally be an experienced qualified lawyer. Familiarity with Intellectual Property Laws is essential, as well as a good command of the different techniques of broadcasting operations. The candidate should have over 10 years of PQE advising in the field of Intellectual Property and Broadcasting Compliance issues. 

You will be working in-house with the above experience along with the leadership skills, gravitas and business experience to take on this role. You need to have a pragmatic and commercial approach and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.

The incumbent should have a proven track record of demonstrating high-calibre advice in the broadcasting sector. Knowledge of the Asian established and emerging markets is essential, as well as the command of an Asian language as the post will require the candidate to travel to Asia and deal with Asian clients. The incumbent should have the ability to work unsupervised and should be well organised and be able to work with people from different cultures and walks of life.  

This role includes international travel at very short notice and candidate should be prepared to accept life on the go. The financial package on offer is very attractive and includes the possibility to earn weighted salary/bonus, while those with significant career aspirations will flourish within the group in the long-term given CRC's significant plans for growth and development.
